Watercolour and Sketch Workshop

Five days of watercolour and sketching workshop in central Bali. The Indonesian island will provide us the most beautiful subjects to paint in our travel sketchbook. Breathtaking rice terraces, beautiful temples and colourful markets. Vincent will guide you in the process and help you to improve your skills in sketching with simple tips.

PROGRAMME

• Monday 26 -  Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Sebatu Water Palace
• Tuesday 27 -  Goa Gojah and mask museum
• Wednesday 28 -  Pura Gunung Lebah and rice terrace walk and then Balinese Dance performance
• Thursday 29 -  Tour to Ulan Danu  Beratan Temple
• Friday 30 - Monkey Forest and market

RECOMMENDED SUPPLIES

• Your favourite art techniques: watercolours, coloured pencils, pens, liners, pencils…
• Foldable stool (if you use one)
• Fabric cloth (rather than paper towel)
• Rain jacket (umbrella)
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Insect repellent
• Hat and sunscreen

YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Vincent Desplanche comes from France, he is a professional illustrator, urban sketcher correspondent and Japanese woodblock printmaker.  He is a huge fan of mountains where he love to hike, climb and paint.  However he also likes to sketch tricky urban scenery and lively places like markets, sports events and concerts. Vincent teaches watercolour and sketching for more than fifteen years.
